Salesforce Summer ’26: Build Faster, Automate Smarter, and Secure by Default

This is an important secure-by-default shift. It helps ensure operations respect the current user’s object, field, and record-level permissions, reducing the risk of unintended data exposure.

Summer ’26 also introduces more proactive security capabilities. The AI-powered Health Assessments Agent can generate on-demand security reports with step-by-step remediation guidance. Data Detect adds automated recurring scans and the ability to scan encrypted fields for exact keywords.
