Come aboard and “go with the Flow”….
Salesforce will no longer be supporting Workflow Rules and Process Builder on December 31, 2025, and recommends that you migrate your legacy workflows and process builder to Flow Builder by that time.
What does this change mean for me?
If you have active Workflow Rules or Process Builder processes running after 2025, they will no longer receive customer support or bug fixes from Salesforce.
OK … sounds like I could still, maybe continue to use Workflow Rules or Process Builder? 🤞🏻

After December 31, 2025, Workflow Rules and Process Builder may continue to function and execute existing automation, but customer support will not be available, and bugs will not be fixed.
OK. Fine. I don’t want to be remembered at my company for the massive collapse of 2026… So what do I need to do?
We recommend implementing a plan to migrate any active rules or processes to Flow Builder before the deadline. Depending on the complexity of your org, this migration may take a significant amount of time and testing, so we recommend starting now. To assist in the migration process, we have a Migrate to Flow tool and extensive support resources available.
We have a lot of complex personalities at my company which means we probably have a complex set-up. How long will this take me? How do I know if this even impacts me?
You can identify whether you have active workflow rules by going to Setup | Process Automation | Workflow Rules and sorting the Active column for checkmarks.
You can identify whether you have active Process Builder processes by going to Setup | Process Automation | Process Builder and sorting the Status column for Active.
OK. So I have time to learn flows, but there is also a cool tool to migrate the functionality FOR ME?
Use the Migrate to Flow tool to convert your Process Builder processes and workflow rules into Flow Builder, including scheduled actions. The tool also supports partial migration of processes for most actions.
But, I should probably take a look at what I’m converting. Do I need to keep all the old Workflows and Process Builder? Can I combine any into one Flow? Maybe I should document what each of them do? Wait… do I even know what this workflow does?? Help!
